Electronic Technician

About the role

The Electronic Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying a wide range of electronic systems and components, from computers and laser scanners to RFID readers, CCTV cameras and industrial control equipment. The role combines hands‑on repair work with documentation and support for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Test, calibrate, maintain and repair electronic units using standard tools and equipment.
• Replace defective components with hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Document work through reports, logs and test records.
• Assist engineers with data collection, sketches and basic circuitry design.
• Research parts, tools and suppliers and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on roadside gantry systems.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Digital Equipment or PLC Systems.
• 1–2 years of experience in electronic control systems.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
