Emirati Laboratory Technologist

About the role

HealthHub Clinics, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is seeking a qualified Emirati Laboratory Technologist to join its 24/7 diagnostic laboratory at Marsa Plaza, Dubai. The role supports physicians and healthcare teams by delivering accurate, timely diagnostic results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests across various laboratory disciplines.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of results to support clinical decision‑making.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory equipment in line with quality and safety standards.
• Adhere to DHA regulations, laboratory protocols, and infection‑prevention procedures.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Emirati national with a valid Family Book.
• Current DHA License as a Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related field.
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshooting and calibrating diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge of DHA regulations and laboratory safety standards.
• Accurate documentation and data handling.
