Employee Wellness Officer

About the role

The Employee Wellness Officer will champion staff wellbeing and engagement across Southern Sun’s Abu Dhabi operations. You will design and manage programmes that recognise employee contributions, support a healthy workplace, and foster a vibrant internal community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the staff recognition and incentive programme.
• Create and distribute internal communications on HR initiatives.
• Organise staff birthday greetings and other morale‑boosting activities.
• Lead an employee ideas committee, collect feedback and report progress to management.
• Maintain locker rooms, cafeteria and overall staff wellness facilities.
• Oversee employee accommodation standards and wellness resources.
• Coordinate effective onboarding for new hires.
• Plan and stage internal events to build excitement among staff.
• Schedule and report on community upliftment projects.
• Collaborate with team members or work independently to uphold high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Recognised tertiary qualification relevant to HR or marketing.
• Knowledge of Southern Sun’s policies, practices and procedures.
• Minimum two years’ experience in HR, marketing or related fields.
• Experience with incentive, recognition, wellness programmes or project management is advantageous.
