Endocrinologist – Clinical Specialist

About the role

The Endocrinologist will deliver high‑quality clinical services to patients with hormonal disorders in the Endocrinology Clinic. The role involves comprehensive patient care from initial consultation through treatment planning, as well as on‑call emergency coverage for endocrine emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, ethical, and efficient clinical services to patients.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance standards.
• Perform endocrine procedures, including dynamic hormonal tests.
• Order and interpret diagnostic laboratory studies and imaging examinations.
• Offer consultation and referral services to inpatient teams within the area of expertise.
• Supervise and educate nursing staff, technicians, and patients.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities such as morbidity‑mortality conferences, audits, and chart reviews.
• Contribute to in‑service activities, lectures, conferences, and staff meetings.
• Provide after‑hours on‑call coverage for endocrine emergencies.
