Endocrinologist – Consultant

About the role

Metabolic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary team, focusing on diabetes and metabolic health.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and hormonal imbalances.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate lifestyle changes, medications, and follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with dietitians, diabetes educators, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize GluCare’s remote monitoring tools, wearables, and data‑driven insights to adjust treatments and improve outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocol development.
• Engage in clinical research and mentor junior medical staff.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent with a specialization in Endocrinology.
• Valid DHA license (or eligibility for licensure) in the UAE.
• 3–5 years of experience in endocrinology practice, with a strong focus on diabetes management.

Required skills

• Expertise in managing complex diabetes cases and other endocrine disorders.
• Proficiency in using medical technology and interpreting patient data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for patient interaction and team collaboration.
