Engineering Associate

About the role

The Engineering Associate supports the hotel’s facilities operations by coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering professional guest service. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with multiple departments to keep the property running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments via telecommunications devices to respond to maintenance requests and place rooms out of order when needed.
• Schedule and manage major system shutdowns, repairs and improvements in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Maintain purchase order logs, file orders after payment and ensure they match packing slips.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards, complete safety training and handle flammable materials safely.
• Provide professional guest service by welcoming guests, assisting individuals with disabilities and communicating clearly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum two years of related engineering or facilities maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
