Engineering Recruitment Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Engineering Recruitment Manager to lead the delivery of talent acquisition for its engineering functions. The role will oversee a team of recruiters responsible for both high‑volume frontline engineering hires and specialist technical positions, supporting the airline’s ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing engineering recruitment team.
• Design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with Etihad’s engineering expansion.
• Act as a strategic talent advisor to senior engineering leaders and other stakeholders.
• Create attraction campaigns and sourcing initiatives to engage top engineering talent globally.
• Build sustainable pipelines for licensed engineers, maintenance, technical operations and specialist disciplines.
• Ensure robust, objective assessment processes and data‑driven hiring decisions.
• Leverage market intelligence and competitor insights to improve hiring outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional service to candidates and hiring managers while maintaining speed and quality of hire.
• Continuously improve recruitment tools, processes and ways of working.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading aviation engineering or engineering recruitment teams.
• Proven track record recruiting both high‑volume frontline and specialist technical roles.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with experience coaching recruiters.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience using market insights to drive performance.
• Degree‑educated with extensive talent acquisition leadership experience.
