English (EAL) Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Mamoura British Academy, part of Aldar Academies, is seeking an enthusiastic English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to join its vibrant community in Abu Dhabi starting January 2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality English instruction to a diverse student body across lower, middle and senior school levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EAL lessons aligned with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Identify and support SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented students through differentiated instruction.
• Utilise assessment data to inform planning, set clear targets and monitor progress.
• Incorporate ICT tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Mark student work, provide feedback and record progress systematically.
• Prepare reports for parents and participate in parent‑student events.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech‑language therapists and educational psychologists when required.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
• Commitment to the school’s core values and an appreciation of regional cultural values.
