Elementary Classroom Teacher

About the role

ADNOC Schools is seeking high‑performing Elementary Classroom Teachers to start in January 2027. The position is based at the ADNOC School Ruwais Campus in Abu Dhabi, UAE, delivering the Massachusetts State Curriculum. You will join a leading school group that values professional development and a student‑centred learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that encourages outstanding practice and high expectations.
• Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and design challenging tasks.
• Differentiate instruction for SEN, very able, and English‑as‑additional‑language students.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Maintain discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets, and provide feedback.
• Prepare informative reports for parents and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Fully qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s in Education or related degree plus PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in the relevant field.
• Commitment to an extensive enrichment programme and recent involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Experience teaching students for whom English is an additional language.
• Positive, solution‑focused attitude and respect for the school community.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
