English Teacher – International School

About the role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver the English National Curriculum through Key Stage, IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. You will inspire learners of all ages and abilities, using abundant classroom resources and high expectations to drive achievement. Building strong partnerships with parents is a key part of supporting student progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons across the curriculum, from early years to post‑16.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents to maximise student progress.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra‑curricular activities and cultural initiatives.

Required profile

• Passionate educator committed to continuous improvement and high standards of teaching and pastoral care.
• Strong experience of the UK National Curriculum; international experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across a diverse community.
• Flexible, open‑minded and able to adapt quickly to a fast‑paced international environment.
