Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced UAE National to lead its Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) function in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental policy and procedures.
• Plan, prepare and coordinate internal and external safety audits.
• Assist in establishing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including policy development, risk assessment and procedure drafting.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near‑misses, fire incidents, property damage and environmental issues.
• Deliver regular HSE training, toolbox talks, safety inductions and briefings to all staff.
• Develop and support CSR initiatives focused on waste management, circularity and community engagement.
• Support resource‑management projects for electricity, water and waste reduction, tracking KPIs and reporting results.
• Prepare and execute emergency response plans and conduct mock drills.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least 5 years of relevant HSE experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to lead audits, investigations and training programmes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
