Environmental Test Engineer II

About the role

The Environmental Test Engineer II will support environmental testing activities for UAV systems, ensuring compliance with standards and system requirements. The role involves planning, executing, and analysing test campaigns while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of environmental test campaigns for UAV systems and major programs.
• Develop qualification strategies and coordinate with customers and certification teams.
• Investigate failures, analyse data, and identify root causes related to environmental testing.
• Develop, validate, and improve test infrastructure, equipment, and procedures.
• Provide technical support to engineers during test activities and technical reviews.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test documentation in line with quality systems and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in environmental testing, including leadership roles on major aerospace, UAV or defence programs.
• Familiarity with MIL‑STD‑810, DO‑160 and NATO/AIAA standards.
• Proficiency in test automation and advanced data analysis tools.
