About the role
Velora is hiring an Equipment Operator (Pushback) in Abu Dhabi. The operator runs Ground Support Equipment and helps with aircraft turnaround activities so that ramp operations are safe and efficient.
Key responsibilities
- Operate any Ground Service Equipment they are trained to use, as instructed.
- Check cargo holds and surrounding areas for abnormalities, missing or damaged parts and unidentified items.
- Keep GSE in good working condition through basic checks and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Comply with UAE laws and Velora's and airline rules on quality, safety, security and special products.
- Report safety, security, service issues, errors, hazards and near misses using the established reporting procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading baggage and cargo.
- During pushback, use a headset to communicate with the flight crew and ground teams, tow aircraft and ground equipment, and perform aircraft pushback procedures.
Required profile
- Valid UAE driver's licence.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Equipment Operator.
