ESG & Sustainability Officer (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Officer – ESG & Sustainability will support Commercial Bank International’s ESG agenda, helping to develop the strategy, roadmap and communication plan that showcase the bank’s sustainability achievements. The role involves coordinating initiatives across departments and ensuring timely reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ESG strategy roadmap, tracking initiatives, milestones and responsible stakeholders.
• Collect, consolidate and verify ESG data from various departments and support the preparation of the bank’s Sustainability Report.
• Prepare ESG performance updates, dashboards and presentations for senior management, the ESG Committee and the Board.
• Coordinate ESG communications, awareness campaigns and training sessions to promote sustainability across the bank.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and maintain a tracker of ESG‑related compliance obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, banking operations or an analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
