Event Manager - Corporate and Consumer Events

About the role

An experienced Event Manager is sought to lead the planning and execution of corporate and consumer events across the UAE. The role covers event logistics, vendor relations, marketing and client engagement, aiming for flawless delivery and excellent attendee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end event plans, including concept design, budgeting and timelines
• Coordinate venue selection, site inspections, logistics, catering, audio-visual setup and on-site staffing
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates
• Work with marketing teams on promotional campaigns, collateral and digital outreach
• Act as primary client liaison, gathering requirements, giving status updates and ensuring satisfaction
• Oversee post-event analysis, including budget reconciliation, performance reporting and supplier evaluations
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and health and safety standards
• Lead and mentor junior event staff and coordinators

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field
• 5-7 years of professional experience in event management and coordination
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency preferred
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Required skills

• Technical expertise in vendor management and contract negotiation
• Planning of marketing and promotions for live and virtual events
• Client relationship management and stakeholder communication
• Organizational, time-management and problem-solving abilities
• Preferred: CMP or CSEP certification, experience with large exhibitions, conferences or festivals in the UAE, familiarity with digital event platforms, registration systems and CRM tools, advanced MS Office and project management software
