Events Intern (Part-Time)

About the role

HIVE, a real estate development and operations company, is looking for a part-time Events Intern to support the planning, coordination and delivery of its community events, brand collaborations and cultural programming at the HIVE JVC asset. Working closely with the Brand Experience Manager and the Community Coordinator, the internship is hands-on and focuses on event-day coordination, set-up, live delivery and breakdown. It is a six-month paid internship of 10-12 hours per week, mainly on weekends and evenings, with significant on-the-ground event support.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of HIVE's event calendar
• Take an active role in the physical set-up, running and breakdown of events
• Support suppliers, partners, talent and collaborators on event days
• Help manage event timings, run sheets, guest lists, RSVPs and logistics
• Prepare event spaces and make sure everything is ready before doors open
• Research talent, collectives, brands, suppliers and potential collaborators
• Support sourcing and coordination of event materials, equipment and production requirements
• Be a reliable point of support on the ground so events run smoothly from start to finish

Required profile

• Open to students or recent graduates seeking part-time, temporary work
• Genuine interest in Dubai's events, music, hospitality, design and cultural scene
• Keeps up to date with what is happening in the city and shares new ideas with the team
• Highly organised, proactive, resourceful and calm under pressure
• Comfortable working in a small, evolving team and taking on a range of responsibilities
• Available to work evenings and weekends in line with the events calendar
• Valid UAE residency (e.g. family visa, student visa) that remains valid through the full 6-month contract
