Exams Officer

About the role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive Exams Officer to join its team. The Examinations Officer plays a key role in planning, coordinating and administering all internal and external examinations and assessments across the school, working closely with school leadership, teaching staff, students, parents, examination boards and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage examination timetables, student registrations and entries, and examination arrangements
• Handle resit examinations and results processing
• Deliver post-results services
• Ensure all activities run efficiently and comply with the regulations of the relevant Awarding Bodies
• Maintain accurate records and communicate examination information on time

Required profile

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Professionalism, confidentiality and a commitment to high standards of examination administration

Applicants submit a CV, a letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of whom should be their current Head Teacher/Principal/Line Manager. Candidates with regular unsupervised contact with children must undergo safeguarding vetting, including criminal record checks from their country of residence and birth and from any country of residence in the last 10 years.
