Executive Assistant to Managing Director

About the role

The Executive Assistant will work directly with the Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Automotive, providing high‑level administrative and strategic support. This role is pivotal in ensuring the MD’s office runs smoothly, decisions are well‑informed, and strategic initiatives are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, priorities and business commitments, preventing scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare and coordinate executive correspondence, presentations and stakeholder communications with accuracy and professionalism.
• Support leadership meetings, board reviews and business updates by delivering agendas, materials, minutes and tracking actions.
• Track executive action items and ensure timely completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly to inquiries.
• Handle sensitive business information securely, adhering to confidentiality requirements.
• Produce executive reports, dashboards, presentations and briefing materials for the leadership team.
• Keep the Managing Director’s office running efficiently through proactive planning, coordination and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or a related discipline.
• 5‑8 years of experience supporting C‑suite executives.
• Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
• Strong business acumen and professional judgement.
• High level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
