Executive Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Executive Chef leads the culinary strategy and daily kitchen operations for the Forbes 5‑Star Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, ensuring exceptional menu quality, consistency, and memorable guest experiences across all dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Culinary and Stewarding business plan, aligning with market strategy, financial targets, and brand standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and departmental performance metrics such as sales, food costs, profit margins, and guest satisfaction.
• Partner with Food & Beverage Operations to create innovative concepts, menus, and promotions that drive revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food‑safety regulations, and maintain high standards of food handling and allergen management.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse culinary team, overseeing recruitment, training, succession planning, and performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hotel brands, with a commercial focus and strong business results.
• Inspirational leadership and people‑management skills, capable of building high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Guest‑centric mindset with a commitment to the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Food & Beverage (F&D) management systems.
• Advanced competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with social media management for culinary branding.
