Experienced Sonographer – Diagnostic Ultrasound

About the role

You will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, contributing to accurate diagnosis and high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality ultrasound scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Assess image quality and provide preliminary observations to support diagnostic decisions.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of findings.
• Ensure equipment is used safely, maintained properly, and faults are reported promptly.
• Collaborate with the wider radiology team and participate in service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or MSc in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
• DHA, DOH or MOH license.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Proficiency in a range of ultrasound specialties (multi‑modality preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and a strong patient‑focused approach.
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflows.
