Experienced Tile Mason (Villa Fit-Out)

About the role

An experienced tile mason is sought for villa fit-outs, renovations and landscape projects in the UAE. The position is based in Dubai and involves installing tiles on floors, walls and outdoor areas.

Key responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiles on floors, walls and outdoor areas.
• Prepare surfaces and apply suitable tile adhesives.
• Maintain accurate levels, straight lines, even joints and correct drainage slopes.
• Cut tiles neatly around corners, pipes and drains.
• Complete grouting and silicone joints with a clean finish.
• Follow site instructions and protect completed work.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of tile installation experience.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• A practical skills test forms part of the selection process.

Required skills

• Floor and wall tile installation, surface preparation and screeding.
• Tile setting out, alignment and levelling, including bathroom and outdoor drainage slopes.
• Accurate cutting, edge finishing and grouting; safe use of tile cutters, grinders and laser levels.
• Ability to follow basic drawings and site measurements, with attention to detail and clean workmanship.
