Export Sales Manager

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time Export Sales Manager in Dubai for the FMCG/Foods/Beverage sector. The role covers international sales strategy, client relationship management, contract negotiation and coordination with logistics and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement export sales strategies to expand the company's presence in new and existing international markets, and identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with international clients, distributors and retailers, acting as the main point of contact for export-related queries.
• Set and monitor sales targets for export markets, analysing sales trends to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with international clients, ensuring compliance with export laws and trade regulations.
• Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments, and monitor inventory to avoid stock-outs.
• Provide after-sales support, handle post-sale issues, monitor customer feedback and use it to improve products and services.
• Prepare and manage the export sales budget, monitoring expenses on logistics, marketing and trade events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of managing and growing international sales in FMCG markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, export processes and logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Use of project management tools.
