Facade Structural Engineer

About the role

AESG is seeking a Facade Structural Engineer to join its cost management team on a Dubai‑based project. The role involves supporting the project leader to deliver high‑quality façade solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and reinforcing AESG’s reputation as a preferred service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex façade projects from detailed design through construction and remedial phases.
• Conduct façade diagnosis inspections, factory and site inspections, and produce comprehensive reports.
• Oversee testing and visual performance mock‑ups, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Provide guidance, line‑management and mentorship to junior team members.
• Update construction checklist templates and stay current with façade market standards and codes of practice.
• Develop research publications related to façade engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in façade design and structural engineering.
• Proven ability to manage both technical and commercial aspects of projects.
• Experience in conducting inspections and preparing technical reports.
