Facilities Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Officer to manage day‑to‑day operations of our office buildings in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all facilities remain safe, functional and efficient while supporting employees and business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire safety and security systems.
• Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors and service providers, including quotations, purchase orders and performance monitoring.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Support cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste management and other workplace services.
• Assist with office moves, renovations, refurbishments and space planning projects.
• Monitor budgets, invoices, operational expenses and identify cost‑control opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or building operations, preferably with at least 1 month of relevant work.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire safety and security systems.
• Strong organizational, planning and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
