Facilities Team Leader – Ultra‑Luxury Resort

About the role

The Atlantis the Royal resort is seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to oversee the inspection, repair and preventative maintenance of all building systems and equipment across the property. This role ensures that the ultra‑luxury environment remains safe, functional and visually impeccable for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and perform corrective work on electrical, mechanical, kitchen, painting, carpentry, audio‑visual, fire‑life safety, recreational water and other resort systems.
• Execute Condition‑Based Maintenance (CBM) and follow manufacturers’ preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance when needed.
• Maintain a clean work area before, during and after tasks and report any cleanliness issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment.
• Provide shift coverage, respond to building emergencies and escalate critical issues to senior management.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and storage.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a specific facilities‑maintenance trade.
• Completed trade school or higher education related to the trade.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven supervisory capability when required.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
