Factory Production Supervisor

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Factory Production Supervisor in Dubai. The supervisor oversees daily production on the factory floor, ensures quality and compliance, leads and trains the factory team and helps improve efficiency. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor and assign tasks to machine operators, technicians and labourers so that schedules are met
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues with technical teams and optimise use of manpower, machines and materials
• Ensure output meets company standards and customer requirements, and enforce ISO, safety and factory compliance standards
• Work with the Quality Control team to resolve defects and process issues
• Lead, train and motivate workers, monitor performance, hold daily briefings and report issues to the Production Manager
• Recommend and implement improvements to reduce waste and improve workflow, and maintain records of output, downtime and material usage
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety policies, PPE and housekeeping are followed

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication facility, preferably in the aluminium or glass industry
• Strong knowledge of production processes, materials handling and safety standards
• Good leadership, team management and communication skills in English; Hindi or Urdu is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Basic knowledge of machine operations and preventive maintenance
• ERP systems knowledge is an advantage
