Fashion Buyer

About the role

Mario Bologna is looking for a commercially driven Fashion Buyer in Dubai. The successful candidate will understand luxury and contemporary fashion, market trends and customer preferences, and will source collections, manage supplier relationships, analyse sales performance and develop purchasing strategies aligned with the brand's identity.

Key responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, seasonal collections and market developments to identify purchasing opportunities.
• Select and purchase clothing, footwear, handbags, accessories and other fashion products according to customer demand.
• Coordinate with international brands, suppliers and business partners on collections, pricing and purchasing terms.
• Analyse sales performance, customer preferences and market trends to guide buying decisions.
• Plan seasonal purchasing, maintain product assortments, quantities and sizing, and monitor stock levels, inventory performance and sell-through rates.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and fashion brands.
• Collaborate with retail and management teams so collections meet commercial objectives, and monitor competitors and emerging trends in luxury and premium fashion.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Fashion Buyer or in a similar buying role in fashion or luxury retail.
• Strong understanding of luxury and contemporary fashion brands, designer collections, seasonal trends and product selection.
• Knowledge of sales analysis, stock planning, inventory management and purchasing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, including analysis of sales and buying data.

Salary estimated at AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month. Applications close on 31 October 2026.
