F&B Service Expert – Room Service (Waiter/Waitress)

About the role

Our Guest Service Experts in the Westin Dubai deliver memorable room‑service experiences, ensuring guests enjoy their meals with attentive service and a focus on quality. The role involves setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving guests, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables and dining areas for room‑service orders.
• Communicate guest orders accurately with the kitchen and ensure timely delivery.
• Interact with guests, present menus, and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, supplies, and service equipment.
• Follow safety, company policies, and quality standards throughout service.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Navigate sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces while delivering service.
• Read and visually verify menu information to ensure correct orders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as described.
• Professional appearance and clear communication skills.
