Female Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist

About the role

Astra ProMed is seeking an experienced female specialist in obstetrics and gynecology to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to women at all stages of life, with a focus on high‑risk and critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill obstetric and gynecological patients.
• Provide intensive and critical care services, including emergency procedures within the scope of practice.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior medical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care, Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesiology, or a related specialty.
• Eligibility for Specialist Critical Care classification under UAE PQR requirements.
• Valid DOH licence or willingness to complete the licensing process.
• Relevant post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Strong clinical, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
