Finance & Accounts Intern

About the role

MDX is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Intern to join its team in Dubai. The position suits fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in financial operations and accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and finance activities
• Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets
• Work extensively on Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and Conditional Formatting
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in reconciling accounts and financial data
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome
• Valid visa (Father's, Mother's or Student Visa)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and Conditional Formatting
