Finance Director – Assets

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Director – Assets to shape the financial strategy and governance of a multi‑asset portfolio in the United Arab Emirates. The role will oversee reporting, budgeting, consolidation and drive continuous improvement across all asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the financial strategy for a diversified asset portfolio, aligning with corporate objectives.
• Lead portfolio‑level reporting, including performance dashboards, variance analysis and management reports.
• Ensure financial control, accounting integrity and regulatory compliance across all assets.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis cycles to support robust planning.
• Consolidate financial statements for the entire asset portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with asset managers, operations and executive leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to finance teams supporting individual assets.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) – mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in asset‑heavy industries.
• Strong analytical capability and leadership presence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels.
