Finance Manager – Accounts & Business Planning

About the role

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Business Head and Senior Finance Manager to drive annual business planning, budgeting and performance monitoring for the brand. The role ensures realistic, stretched targets and provides decision‑support analyses for new stores, brands, and market expansions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and Management Information System (MIS) reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis of profit & loss statements and present findings to management.
• Perform feasibility studies for new stores and assess profitability of existing locations.
• Develop and present business plans and budgets for the brand.
• Manage import payments related to purchasing activities.
• Track profitability of new‑age stores and present P&L results to principals.
• Carry out breakeven analysis for loss‑making stores and recommend corrective actions.
• Authorize and monitor expenses for trade licences, rent, and other brand‑related costs.
• Analyse stock reports and authorize movement of small wares and equipment in warehouses.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports based on customized requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior finance leaders and business heads.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor performance, highlight variances and suggest corrective measures.
