Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will manage the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with UAE regulations. You will work closely with management to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT returns and FTA requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and oversee accounts payable/receivable.
• Process payroll according to UAE Labour Law and the Wage Protection System.
• Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and present reports to management.
• Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and enter data into accounting software.

Required profile

• CPA or ACCA qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, UAE financial regulations, and payroll legislation.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
