Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will monitor the company’s financial performance, analyse market conditions and produce forecasts to support senior management in both tactical and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse financial statements, forecast revenues and expenditures, and build financial models for decision support.
• Support the management team in developing financial plans and optimise resource allocation.
• Identify trends, track business performance and provide recommendations for optimisation.
• Perform variance analyses, develop comparative performance studies and update forecast models.
• Generate periodic reports and collaborate with accounting/finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Drive process and policy improvements to enhance workflows and financial growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, including exposure to VAT reporting, ICV certifications, AP approvals, and corporate tax matters across UAE, Oman, Kenya and Qatar.

Required skills

• VAT reporting – calculation and filing.
• ICV certifications.
• Accounts Payable (AP) approvals.
• Income/corporate tax preparation, local file and transfer pricing.
