Financial Analyst - Sinyar Graduate Programme (Retail)

About the role

Al-Futtaim Retail is recruiting a Financial Analyst through its Sinyar Graduate Programme, a development path where participants join in a defined position and follow a structured development journey. The role sits with the BP&A team and offers hands-on exposure to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business analysis, supporting real business activities and helping candidates understand how finance underpins commercial decisions in Retail.

Key responsibilities

• Support the BP&A team with strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and assist with preparing and consolidating financial information.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and follow up with business teams on performance and reporting.
• Support finance automation and improvement initiatives, including project reporting, analysis and follow-up.
• Work closely with BP&A colleagues and other business stakeholders, and support regular reporting and business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above; fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Interest in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business performance.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
