Fintech Architect

About the role

The Fintech Architect will design and manage digital fintech security for customer journeys, working closely with the Head of Engineering and the GISD management team. The role reports to the Manager of Digital Security Architecture and is responsible for protecting ADIB’s data and resources from internal and external threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine regulatory compliance, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for digital and fintech assets.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of digital security solutions and architecture reviews across ADIB’s digital initiatives.
• Manage data privacy impact assessments, third‑party vendor assessments, and security controls for digital projects.
• Serve as the digital security point of contact, providing advisory services to various departments and project teams.
• Build and maintain a unified digital security roadmap, configuration baselines, and patching processes for all applications, systems, and network assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, fintech applications, and security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SWIFT, and SABSA/TOGAF.
• Experience in cloud security and architecture, with the ability to design secure DevOps pipelines for both cloud and on‑prem environments.

Required skills

• Security technologies, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, and application security.
• Technical certifications such as TOGAF, CCIE, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, ITIL.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NESA, PCI DSS, SWIFT, SABSA/TOGAF, and other information security standards.
• Strong experience with cloud security architectures and DevOps channel design.
