Fitness Center Attendant - 5-Star Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Fitness Center Attendant will ensure that guests of a 5‑star luxury hotel enjoy a safe, clean and well‑maintained workout environment. You will be the first point of contact for guests using the fitness facilities and will support daily operations, equipment upkeep and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information on equipment and facilities.
• Monitor equipment usage to guarantee proper handling, cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the fitness centre, locker rooms and related amenities.
• Assist guests with basic equipment setup and explain facility rules.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Enforce health, safety and hygiene standards throughout the centre.
• Support special fitness events or classes as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Fitness Center Attendant or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge; CPR certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Relevant certification in fitness, hospitality or related fields preferred.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
