Fitness & Wellness Manager

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is looking for a dynamic Fitness & Wellness Manager to lead the Spa & Wellness department. The role involves overseeing all fitness and wellness facilities, delivering programmes for guests, members and corporate groups, and ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Spa & Wellness area, including fitness centres, swimming pools, whirlpools, studios and beach facilities.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalised programmes for guests and members.
• Oversee membership administration, incentive programmes and corporate group bookings.
• Develop, promote and deliver fitness and wellness programmes, including e‑marketing initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management of fitness instructors, lifeguards and pool attendants.
• Maintain compliance with hotel policies, health and safety standards, and external quality certifications.
• Prepare financial reports, analyse performance data and assist in budgeting and inventory control.
• Coordinate with engineering for maintenance issues and ensure facilities are kept to operational standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in a related field.
• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) experience in fitness or wellness management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
