Floor Manager

About the role

BeatBAB is a hospitality concept combining tapas, expressive drinks and an analog listening culture, described as a cultural platform where food, drink and music form one continuous mood. The Floor Manager oversees the daily operations of the dining room floor, ensures exceptional guest experiences and maintains high service standards. The role focuses on leadership, team management and customer service, directing front-of-house staff and coordinating service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house operations: greet and seat guests, manage reservations and coordinate table assignments
• Keep the dining room set up, clean and organised before each service, maintaining table settings, décor and ambiance
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and consistency
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous and personalised service from arrival to departure, resolving issues quickly
• Lead front-of-house staff by setting high service standards, providing coaching, training and feedback, and conducting regular inspections of service areas for cleanliness, organisation and health and safety compliance
• Work with management, the kitchen and other teams to coordinate operations, manage peak periods and support events or special services

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality, preferably in Dubai, with expertise in managing large-scale operations and floor management of daily operations
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, able to motivate, coach and inspire staff
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as kitchen, reservations and quality control
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations, resolve conflicts and keep operations efficient
