Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

The Food and Beverage Attendant works at the Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites, supporting daily restaurant operations and contributing to a pleasant dining experience in line with the hotel's luxury hospitality standards. The role delivers friendly, attentive and professional service to guests while maintaining cleanliness and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and help them with seating and dining arrangements.
• Present menus, explain food and beverage selections and give recommendations when needed.
• Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages according to service standards and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain tables, service stations and dining areas, setting them with clean cutlery, glassware and crockery.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns and special dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other F&B team members for smooth service.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing and breakdown.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, equipment and service areas.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Handle guest bills and payments accurately when assigned, and promote menu specials.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages, damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow hotel grooming standards, service procedures and health and safety policies, and perform other duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Assistant F&B Manager.
