Food & Beverage Runner

About the role

The First Group Hospitality is looking for an energetic, attentive and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Runner to support dining operations within an exclusive private members club. The role ensures timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages while keeping the presentation, discretion and service excellence expected by members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, with correct table allocation, presentation and service standards.
• Check orders against kitchen instructions, including dietary requirements, allergies and special requests, before delivery.
• Work closely with the Culinary, Bar and service teams to keep communication and service flow smooth.
• Help with table preparation, clearing, resetting and keeping dining areas ready.
• Serve food at the right temperature and according to presentation and service procedures.
• Keep service stations, equipment and operational areas clean and organised.
• Anticipate needs, replenish supplies and help proactively during peak periods.
• Know menu items, ingredients and table numbers well.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety and club operational standards.

Required profile

• Preferred: relevant hospitality or F&B service training or qualification.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in F&B service or restaurant operations, ideally in private members clubs, fine dining or premium hospitality.
• Good understanding of food service procedures, table settings and premium dining etiquette.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with culinary and service teams.
• Attention to detail on order accuracy, presentation and dietary needs.
• Efficient, organised and calm during busy service, professional and discreet with members and guests.
