Forklift Operator – Warehouse & Freight Operations

About the role

Zahr Freighters is looking for a skilled and safety‑conscious Forklift Operator to support its warehouse and freight operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will operate forklifts safely, move and arrange goods, load and unload shipments, and assist warehouse teams with material handling.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely for moving, loading, and unloading goods and materials.
• Load and unload freight shipments, pallets, containers and warehouse materials.
• Transport goods between receiving, storage, staging and dispatch areas.
• Stack and arrange materials securely in designated locations.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Assist warehouse staff with receiving, picking, staging and dispatch activities.
• Maintain safe operating distances from employees, vehicles, racks and other equipment.
• Keep accurate movement or loading records when required and report hazards to the supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, freight or logistics environment (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator certification or relevant operating authorization.
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding warehouse activities.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow company operating procedures.
