Foundation Stage Teacher - Primary School

About the role

The Arbor School is looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and reflective Foundation Stage teacher to join its Early Years team. The teacher creates a warm, inclusive learning environment where children feel safe and curious, planning, delivering and assessing learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework. The school opened in 2018 with a focus on experiential, authentic education inspired by the Arabian Peninsula.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
• Build strong relationships with children and families and establish a supportive classroom culture
• Promote early language, literacy and numeracy and encourage learning through play
• Work with colleagues to ensure continuity of provision and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Uphold the school's mission, values and safeguarding expectations

Required profile

• Native-level English
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a bachelor's with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1 in British schools
• Track record of outstanding teaching and a caring, nurturing classroom approach
