French Language Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated French Language Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum and foster academic success. The role involves creating a safe, engaging learning environment while upholding the school’s professional image.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the SABIS® curriculum and Point System™ to support student achievement.
• Maintain a safe academic environment and uphold the SABIS® image.
• Plan, monitor, and follow up on student academic progress in collaboration with Student Life and Student Management teams.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to the Academic Quality Controller as required by SABIS® and local authorities.
• Report regularly on student performance, challenges, and recommended actions.
• Deliver a minimum of 30 student contact hours per week.
• Teach assigned grade level(s) or multiple classes, including homeroom duties if required.
• Perform additional duties such as exam proctoring, recess or lunch supervision, and attend school functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in French (Master’s preferred or required to meet local regulations).
• Ability to meet all employment, certification, reference, and background check requirements.
• Commitment to a full‑time schedule with 30 contact hours per week.
