French Teacher – Early Years & Primary

About the role

Masterminds Early Learning Center in Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic French Teacher to deliver high‑quality language instruction to early years and primary‑aged children. The successful candidate will create a joyful, developmentally appropriate learning environment that builds confidence and a love for French.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons for early years, kindergarten and primary classes.
• Develop children’s vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, speaking confidence, early reading and age‑appropriate writing skills.
• Use songs, stories, games, movement, visuals, role‑play and hands‑on activities to make learning active and memorable.
• Differentiate instruction for small groups and individual learners based on age, ability and prior exposure.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom atmosphere and manage behaviour effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress through observation, participation and formative assessment.

Required profile

• Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching French to early years and/or primary‑aged children.
• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Languages, Early Childhood Education or a related field; teaching qualification preferred.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition in young children and ability to build confidence in speaking and listening.
• Warm, confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organized, flexible, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.
