FS Teacher (Early Years Foundation Stage)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Danah is seeking an inspirational FS Teacher to deliver the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to young learners in Abu Dhabi. The role involves creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where children develop foundational skills, curiosity and a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
• Design a supportive learning environment that promotes exploration and independence.
• Implement formative and summative assessment strategies to track progress.
• Integrate ICT and educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support each child’s development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed.) specialising in Early Years or Primary Education.
• Valid teaching licence or registration from the country of origin.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of full‑time post‑qualification experience teaching EYFS in a British curriculum school.
• Experience in an international school setting is highly desirable.
