GenAI Sales Development Representative Intern

About the role

BytePlus, the enterprise arm of ByteDance, is looking for interns to join its team in Dubai. The internship gives students hands-on experience in the "Tech2B" landscape, foundational sales skills and exposure to real-world challenges, alongside training, workshops and social events with industry professionals. It starts in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation and research: identify and organise high-quality sales leads by analysing marketing events, industry reports and social media.
• Prospect engagement: hold introductory conversations with potential business owners to qualify interest and explain the value of BytePlus solutions.
• Pipeline support: help meet monthly and quarterly quotas for meetings and qualified opportunities.
• Lead lifecycle ownership: grade leads by quality and distribute them in time to Sales Representatives.
• Skill development: attend regular training and coaching to learn selling methodologies and AI, SaaS and regional market trends.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written English, able to deliver professional sales pitches and introductory calls.
• Metrics-driven, goal-oriented and able to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Preferred: curiosity for AI, SaaS, PaaS or IaaS; exposure to B2B environments or sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or LinkedIn Sales Navigator; interest in international markets and cross-language communication.
