General Foreman (Civil, Finishing & MEP) - Building Projects

About the role

An experienced General Foreman is sought to supervise and coordinate site activities across civil, finishing and MEP works on building projects. The role ensures construction is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities covering civil, finishing and MEP works
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors and workforce teams
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Manage manpower allocation, productivity and daily progress
• Monitor quality of civil works, architectural finishes and MEP installations
• Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Architectural and MEP disciplines
• Review drawings and conduct regular inspections, ensuring timely rectification of defects
• Ensure proper use of materials, tools and equipment
• Report progress, challenges and site requirements to the Construction Manager or Site Engineer
• Ensure HSE compliance and support snagging and handover

Required profile

• Technical qualification or diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical discipline preferred
• 10+ years of experience as a General Foreman in building construction projects
• Strong UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Experience managing civil works, finishing and MEP coordination on large-scale projects
