General Manager – Car Rental

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished, commercially driven General Manager to lead a well‑established car rental business in the UAE. This executive role will shape strategy, drive growth and ensure operational excellence across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to increase growth, profitability and market share.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring efficiency and strong commercial performance.
• Lead business development initiatives, secure key accounts and build strategic partnerships.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L and KPI achievement.
• Maintain relationships with customers, government entities, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop high‑performing teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 18 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a General Manager or equivalent executive role.
• Proven leadership experience in the car rental, leasing or mobility industry within the UAE market.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and decision‑making capabilities.
• Extensive experience managing large‑scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
