General Manager - Members Club

About the role

Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, a global icon of luxury hospitality undergoing a restoration led by designer Tristan Auer, is looking for a General Manager for its Members Club. The role defines and delivers the club's strategy, annual business plan and operating model, and leads its day-to-day operation, food and beverage outlets and team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Members Club strategy, annual business plan and operating model in line with the hotel's positioning and commercial objectives.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the club, including its food and beverage outlets, and maintain exceptional service standards, operational procedures and personalised member experiences.
• Oversee the end-to-end operation and commercial performance of all members-only outlets as one seamless club proposition.
• Direct the club's business plan, daily operations, food and beverage, financial performance, legal compliance and team leadership.
• Manage member acquisition, retention, personalised service, exclusive events and luxury brand partnerships alongside the Membership Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline, with fluent written and spoken English; postgraduate qualifications, relevant professional training and additional languages are advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years' progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, a private members club or a premium lifestyle business.
• Proven experience leading a complex, high-touch operation with full budget and commercial accountability.
• Demonstrated success building long-term relationships with high-profile or high-net-worth clients while keeping strict confidentiality.
• Track record of developing teams, raising service standards and delivering sustainable revenue and membership growth.
